Rolex presents the new Cellini collection, which expresses the classic style and timeless elegance of traditional timepieces in a contemporary spirit. This new collection consists of 12 classic models, each combining expertise and ingenious craftsmanship to demonstrate the timeless heritage of Rolex watchmaking fully.
With simple and elegant lines, noble and magnificent materials, and exquisite and luxurious decoration, every detail conforms to the laws of watchmaking. However, the new watches in this series are not limited to the beautiful designs of the past. Inspired by Benvenuto Cellini, a highly respected artist, goldsmith, and papal sculptor in the Italian Renaissance, the Rolex Cellini collection, on the one hand, returns to its classical roots and, on the other hand, reinterprets its essence of it with a modern approach. Harmonious. Containing Rolex’s watchmaking heritage, these timepieces are reminiscent of contemporary monumental architecture, with proportions and minimalist lines that work with stylish spaces and light and shadow. The new Cellini watch is free from the constraints of tradition and wholly transformed into a guardian of time. The new Cellini collection interprets the most refined and glamorous aspects of watchmaking tradition, absolutely noble and elegant. Manufactured in Rolex’s foundry, the case is available in 18ct white or everose gold. The classic circular design with a diameter of 39 mm is the traditional symbol of the brand. At the same time, the carefully shaped lugs, polished decoration, and the double outer ring composed of a domed outer ring and a triangular grooved outer ring make the watch more distinctive. Among them, the triangular pit pattern, which symbolizes Rolex, is used for the screw-in case back, and the case back is domed as in the previous design. The flared screw-down crown underlines the refined aesthetics of the Cellini collection.
The dial further proves the brand’s watchmaking knowledge and tradition. Each dial is lacquered or decorated with a black or silver-plated classic radial pattern and is matched with gold three-dimensional hour markers. The layout of the dial depends on the different functions of the watch. The entire Cellini collection can be divided into three categories. The Cellini Date adds a calendar function to the hands of the sub-dial, which is both gorgeous and practical. Finally, the Cellini Dual Time can display the time in two time zones at the same time, and the sub-dial window of the second time zone is equipped with an elegant sun and moon day and night indication.All new Cellini watches are fitted with exact self-winding mechanical movements, all certified by the Observatory as chronometers and manufactured by Rolex. In the purest form of tradition, these watches are available on glossy black or brown alligator leather straps with stitched trim and an 18 ct gold buckle, aptly exuding gentlemanly elegance.
The Cellini Time is available in four models, with black or white lacquered dials and a 39 mm case in 18 ct white or everose gold for an elegantly modern look. Hours, minutes, and seconds are essential elements of daily timekeeping. Cellini Time has no distractions and strives to grasp the present and capture the beautiful moments of every minute and second. The straightforward dial not only pays homage to the timeless laws of traditional watchmaking but also reinterprets the essence of the watch in an elegant modern style, including slender and stylish Roman numerals, separated by a minute track moved to the center of the dial, The long hour markers near the end of the hands. Thanks to the self-winding chronograph movement of this extraordinary timepiece, the faceted and double-edged sword-shaped hands can run every minute and every second with precision.
